Postdoc opportunity in History of Medicine, Johns Hopkins

BBQ+ is excited to share this postdoctoral fellowship opportunity from the Johns Hopkins Institute of the History of Medicine — the academic home of our director, Ahmed Ragab.

The Medicine, Science, and the Humanities Program (MSH), Johns Hopkins University, seeks applicants for a two-year (renewable) postdoctoral fellowship in the history of science, technology or medicine, science and technology studies, or other related or allied fields.

The postdoctoral fellow will support the new Critical Approaches to Science, Technology, and Medicine (CAST-M) Masters program and teach in the Medicine, Science & the Humanities undergrad program.

The department particularly encourages applications from candidates from traditionally marginalized backgrounds and those with experience and knowledge of dealing with questions of diversity in the field. The successful candidate will have defended a Ph.D. in history of medicine or a related field by May 31, 2023.

Apply by March 3.
