We are now accepting applications for the 2023-24 Academic Fellowship until Monday, May 29th! The fellowship is fully virtual.

Academic Fellowship

Our Academic Fellowship runs alongside the 2023-24 academic year. As a fellow, you’ll receive mentorship, career development advice, and writing support as you establish yourself either within an academic institution or as an independent educator and researcher. You’ll attend the virtual weekly meeting (Fridays, 12-2pm ET) where you’ll workshop your writing, read theory, and engage with BBQ+’s intellectual community. Depending on funding, you may be awarded a $2,000 USD research stipend.
